The curriculum system is grand and profound. It places human beings within the universe, integrating the changes of solar terms and the Five Yun Liu Qi (Five Movements and Six Qi) with the laws of meridian circulation in the human body. Through meditation, mindfulness, qigong, Tai Chi and other methods, it helps relax the body and mind, relieve tension, promote harmony of zang-fu organs, and truly achieve “physical and mental health”.

As a life coach, I began studying the TCM Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Teacher Training in 2023. After the pandemic, I was filled with anxiety about the future. Although I knew psychology, it was difficult to integrate knowledge and practice. Through one year of practical cultivation, I achieved tremendous physical, mental and spiritual growth and learned true “unity of knowledge and action”.

2026 Certification Requirements for TCM Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Teacher
1. Complete all live sessions of Modules 1–5 and participate in concurrent practice.
2. Attend teaching supervision and practical training for the TCM Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction module.
3. Pass the written examination and interview for TCM Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher qualification upon completion of training.
4. Submit TCM Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction guided practices:
o Record 3 guided audio sessions:
1. Three-Step Breathing Space & Breath Awareness Practice (required)
2. Body Scan (40+ minutes, required)
3. Mindful Walking (optional)
o Record 3 demonstration videos of moving qigong:
1. Tai Chi Cloud Hands; Pure Vessel Exercise (optional)
2. Eight Section Brocade: Holding Up Heaven to Regulate the Triple Burner
3. Eight Section Brocade: Plucking the Feet to Strengthen the Kidneys
5. Independently deliver and record a 30-minute introductory lecture on TCM Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction with an audience of 3 or more people. The lecture may cover introductory topics and experiential learning of TCM Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.
